  IN THE DOCK: Recent cases heard at Tameside Magistrates' court
     
                         
Vincent Mark Cooper, 31, of Baguley Street, Droylsden, was given a six-week 9pm to 6am curfew and must pay £43 compensation and £150 costs for common assault, assault by beating, criminal damage and theft.

      Tracy Kelly, 37, of Margaret Street, Ashton, was given a 12-month community order with £716 costs for making a false statement to obtain benefits. Rizwana Kouser, 35, of Johnson Brook Road, Dukinfield, was fined £500 with £265 costs for selling alcohol to a 15-year-old.

  Nicholas Corbett, 28, of Manchester Road, Audenshaw, was given an 18-month conditional discharge with £100 costs for shoplifting.

  Damian Kenneth Batty, 35, of Crawford Street, Ashton, was given a six-month community order with £85 costs for growing cannabis.
     
      Gemma Claire Millington, 33, of Rock Street, Gee Cross,was ordered to do 40 hours' unpaid work as part of a 12-month community order and must pay £3,033 compensation and £150 costs for failing to inform social security of a change in her circumstances. Anthony Robert Blakeley, 32, of Sylvester Close, Hattersley, was fined £100 with £100 costs for possessing cocaine.
 
James David Newall, 28, of Bradbury Street, Ashton, was given a two-year restraining order, 12-month community order and must pay £100 costs for criminal damage and assault by beating.
       
  Liam Fitzpatrick, 23, of Taylor Lane, Denton, was ordered to do 140 hours' unpaid workas part of a 12-month community order and must pay £85 costs for growing cannabis and possessing a class C drug.
     
Kate Sheward, 30, of Long Lane, Charlesworth, was banned from driving for six months for driving without a valid licence or insurance, without due care and attention, while using a mobile phone and failing to produce documents for police. She was fined £1,050 with £100 costs. Robert Francis Smith, 39, of Aldwyn Close, Audenshaw, was fined £100 with £50 costs for allowing a car to be driven without insurance.
 
             
    Shaun Patrick Morrissey, 27, of Hill Street, Dukinfield,was given a six-week suspended prison sentence for shoplifting.

Ben O'Connell, 25, of Pottinger Street, Ashton, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £360 with £100 costs for drink driving. Michael James Robinson, 24, of Hazelhurst Road, Ashton, was fined £65 with £100 costs for using threatening words or behaviour.

  Kayleigh Shackley-Sadler, 21, of Stayley Drive, Stalybridge, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £50 compensation for shoplifting and failing to surrender to bail.
